My experience with Jeanny was an absolute God send. I had heard of her wonderful acupuncture services in relation to infertility through a work friend and at first seemed a bit hesitant as I had never before been to an acupuncturist. I also have a huge fear of needles but after 8 months of trying to conceive, I became desperate. I was willing to try anything.

Both my husband and I knew that getting pregnant would not be an easy road for us as I had undergone a myomectomy 6 years prior and was also diagnosed with a left blocked fallopian tube. I knew my chances were not that great so I had made all of the right preemptive measures to help us get pregnant. I bought countless ovulation kits, took my temperature every morning, quit caffeine, tried to eat all the right foods and was feeling so defeated. The emotional and physical toll this journey was taking on my body was grueling.

Both my husband and I decided that acupuncture would be the last resort before IVF. I began seeing Jeanny at the end of February. With every appointment, I felt more and more positive about how my body was feeling and reacting to her treatments. My husband and close friends and family were starting to notice it too. My energy level was better, my skin looked brighter, I felt and looked healthier. I looked forward to my appointments with Jeanny. She was not only my acupuncturist but she was a great listener.

I saw Jeanny for a total of 6 weeks and guess what happened? We got pregnant! I could not believe it and still cannot believe it as I stand here today already 21 weeks pregnant. I truly believe that her treatments made it happen.

When I first went to Jeanny I wasn’t sure what I was expecting. I wanted to be able to relax, sleep and it would only be a happy bonus if she could help me on my journey of becoming a mother.

Jeanny made me feel so comfortable, at ease and open to the acupuncture experience. That night after my first treatment was the best night sleep that I had in a long time and was sleeping through the night from that point on. Although my sleeping habits were a big and welcoming surprise, the bigger surprise came just over a month later when I took my first pregnancy test and read “positive”.
